I know the eggs arrived right in the middle of your mom being in the hospital...Would you like me to send more or were you able to put them in the bator? I will gladly send you more, my girls are picking up again somewhat up to at least 3 eggs a day and now my lg Cochin has started laying. Raoul has been breeding her but haven't checked fertility yet. Let me know maybe you can test Bandaids fertility, Cindy

PS and if you want more you'll need to give me your address again I cleaned up my mailbox.

Katrinag, how are those eggs doing? Have you candled? I lost my hen that laid the really big medium brown ones this past week, couldn't figure out what happened to her, then found her floating in the duck pond this morning.

On top of the sadness of losing her, she was my best hen. I've only gotten one egg in the past week. Darn molting, anyway. I've got two of her eggs in my bator now. I hope yours are growing right along.

I have 4 that look good. 1 had a blood ring the other where clear. I can not wait for hatch day.

I was confused.. I thought the person that you got, was the person you get eggs from and send eggs too, and then there was a mix up lol.

I think I got matched up to send eggs to someone who has the same breed (and probably better ones than I have)!

Austin--I would be happy to send you some blue/black/splash Ameraucana eggs in a few weeks (after all the current turmoil has died down here) if you like. I don't think you'll have much use for MORE Buff Orpington eggs, which are what I sent!

Yes, let me know and I'll resend if they don't develop, or we can wait til Spring and get you a larger variety...It was a rough week for eggs. One of my own BRs and Japs hatched over the weekend, yay...For some reason my Millie that was due died in the shell.

I hope everybody has got there egg's already. If not let me know. I have been off for a few day's because I was sick (thinks to my kids).


I was wondering if we need to start a November Swap, or wait untile it start's to warm up again. I know it is getting cold in alote of place's now and it is only going to get colder. So with that being said...... let me know what you all think.....
