The run is the fenced area open to the elements. The coop is the "house". Chickens like to roost on high things. Success - I CAN read a book with ease under the lights!The protein is 21% I believe. This is what was recommended to me to use just through their molt and then to switch back to a laying feed hopefully in December. I think that's what he called it, game feed, but I could be wrong. It's made by ADM Pen Pals.

You'd think that'd be an easy answer. YES, there is a timer. I'm still messing with it trying to get it to only come on from 7-10pm and 6-8am. It seems to have a mind of it's own though.Good!

It is a plug in. My husband is an electrician, surely he could figure it out if I remembered to ask! haha!Is it battery powered?
