I've been dealing with barred rocks for ten years but this one looks a little different. She's 9 or 10 weeks old and is named cloudy. We orginally bought 6 (and 6 lavender orpingtons) but when we got them boobie had an impacted crop by the time she got better Cloudy's twin Sunny also had impacted crop and passed away. They were all supposed to be girls but Star Dust turned out to be a boy and has gotten twisted toes. This is the first time I bought from this breeder and am not pleased about their barred rocks. Now as for what I want to talk about Cloudy looks different from any other barred rock I've ever seen. Her pattern is really odd and she's supper white. Another pullet named Indie also has sort of odd pateren but she is much darker. Is it possible that my cloudy is a mutt? I'll add a photo of her.
