Where were the eggs laid...was it wet or poopy there?I am getting some eggs that look like this.any idea why?
That makes since!we do have. Mulberry tree.i didn't know they stained eggs! It's likely a single hen with a digestive issue. Either she ate something like mulberries that aren't being fully digested or she has an overactive bile duct and that's staining the eggs. Bile leaves a dark greenish stain. Berries would probably be blue or purplish. It doesn't look red so it's unlikely to be blood. Unless you have a hen looking sick I wouldn't wouldn't worry and would expect the issue to resolve kn its own. Is it a recent development or has it been going on for a while?
Laid in a nesting box that is clean.Where were the eggs laid...was it wet or poopy there?
Are the eggs in the pics washed or not?
