Odd color on comb

So I have 2 smokey pearls, both purchased from the same store( tractor supply) on the same day. As chicks I noticed one of the pearls had black feet and a darker beak, we named her padfoot, the other pearl is dottie. As they grew padfoot grew dark wattles and combs, but dottie grew red wattles and comb. I wonder if it's just a genetic breed thing?

They both look fine to me.
With Hybrid chickens, you may get some that have different pigmentation of the combs/wattles/legs.
