I have one Muscovy 2 Rouens M/F, and one Male Pekin the Female Muscovy always seems to be the odd duck out. The males both mated with her and she complied, however now the Male Pekin is being very mean to her taking her by the neck and submerging her head into the water she does have a place to roost however I have stopped letting them free range until we can clip her wings she flew into our neighbors yard and onto my house and we had a hard time getting her back in the pen. We have a large heated coop and fenced in pen. Any ideas on what this behavior is? They were all raised together as ducklings. We didn't know the breeds of them until they were grown.

It is because she is the "odd duck", being a muscovy whereas the others are mallard derived. Add to that the one to one ratio you have plus pekin drakes being what they are mating-wise

Can you get another muscovy female to keep her company?

I was thinking about that it might be a good idea. This all makes sense to me and I think now the question is what do i do to keep her safe until I get another female, and does it matter when or how I introduce another Muscovy to the once tight nit group. Thank guys I couldn't sleep last night worrying about her. She is just the sweetest duck. She lets me hold her pet her, and is just very gentle. Not like the other ducks at all if I had to do it over I would get ALL muscovies just love the look too!!
