Odd duck

I have 14 ducklings, 6 Pekin, and 8 that are either Rouen or Mallard. One of my Rouen insists on getting out of the bath after it has splashed and preened to sit in my lap while the others continue to play in the water. It will get very vocal and try to jump out of the tub repeatedly till I lift it out and place it in my lap. Once out it will peck at my fingers if I am not paying attention to it. I have no idea how to interpret this behavior.
