One of my mature hens that hasn’t laid for weeks just laid this egg today. She was in the coop for a couple hours and the albumin was VERY thick and gelatinous. The “yolk” is like 5-6 separate yolks. The shell is really thin and pretty malleable.
The egg itself was so tiny. Like, an inch tall.
Help me understand what the heck is going on here.
