In the Brooder
I noticed a small bump on the neck of my naked neck hen’s neck a week ago. It has grown and now has an opening on it’s top. It doesn’t seem to hurt her when I touch it. Nothing is oozing out of it. Any clues?

The bump is slightly larger now and the “scab” has fallen off on its own, revealing a good-sized crater beneath. It does not seem to be infected— nothing oozing out and neosporin has no effect. The bump is solid, not squishy. I can’t find any information on anything like this.I would gently remove the head (scab, not the chickens head ) and see if there’s infection beneath
