Odd growing chick.

I bought these eggs but normally we hatch from our own bunch. Lockdown now completed, one final check on odd chick is still looking...quite unusual. The worry is the egg, although moving, will explode within the incubator and contaminate the other eggs with bacteria. I’ve taken the risk and put them in there...fingers crossed!:thumbsup

UPDATE: We’ve got 3 out of 6 pipped so far!

5 chicks out of our 6 have hatched. As we guessed, the odd growing chick hadn’t pipped. I assisted hatch with a chick which pipped at the wrong end which was very successful.
However, I thought I’d aid the odd chick by just making a hole in the air sac. Unfortunately, there was a blood vessel there - the noise the poor little thing made made me sick to my stomach:(
They are still alive, you can see their heart beating. But I’m not sure if they are going to make it.
I don’t think I can live with myself after this if they pass away.

NOTE TO ANYONE:

DO NOT ASSIST HATCHING UNTIL COMPLETEY AND UTTERLY NECESSARY.
