This is second leghorn with poopy butt. However on close examination of this gal, there are small growths at base of feathers only in butt area. Also, a larger pustule and a small bump. I cleaned her and removed poop, washed her 3x and used aloe & alcohol wipe, then put some bag balm on it. I saw another website where they recommended epsom salt bath, which I'll try tomorrow. Her vent looks good and she's laying. I lightly prodded around and nothing like an egg stuck somewhere. My first poopy butt died from predator attack - and she wd walk with bottom towards ground soon after I cleaned her
, but not with wipes & bag balm. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you, Pat
