Odd Hen Behavior - Is This Normal?

No need to remind me! Before I left for work, I got a quick pic of my chickens! (and I also didn't have to go in early! :wee) I had to do it fast, so there's nothing going on in the picture but you can see that they are both hens.

The one on the left is Stacy and the other is named Heather.

They are both females.
Females can 'mount' other females, it's about dominance not sex or 'friendship'.
That male bird in the background should help keep the girls from fighting.
 
Hmm, do you have any other pictures? We cant really see anything
 
i cannot sell as many chickens and because I profit off of selling both born and unborn chickens (unborn meaning unfertilized eggs)
“Unborn” is the incorrect term for this. Say “Infertile.” Because “Unborn” refers to an egg that has been developed and has life but is unhatched.

Born is not a proper term for poultry period. An egg can be born, but chicks hatch. Chickens do not bear their young.
