I found this swan family on a lake and noticed one of the youngsters holding it's foot like this, but at a later stage it had it down in the water like normal again and I couldn't tell it apart from the others. I'm simply asking out of curiosity now, if this is normal for them to do this, or is there something wrong here?

LOL, my 2 pet Black Australian swans do it all the time. I take the opportunity to look good at the bottom of their feet to make sure they don't have abrasions that need attention.
