I got two chicks from the local feed store the other day, and I am a bit concerned about their health (which I know is not surprising). How do these look to you guys?

I have them on Medicated feed (ManaPro) with some dried oregano and cinnamon sprinkled in, as well as some electrolytes in their water. Also a little bowl of dry crushed oatmeal. Is there anything else I should be doing?

The picture is not super clear on my specific device...is their blood? how long has it been like this?

Just feed them the medicated chick starter and fresh water. They are not ready for other foods. Chick poop does change consistency. You'll have a normal looking one then you'll have a watery one.

One of the chicks has watery poops that are often very orange. Not quite red/blood....but distinctly orange colored

Skip all the extra add ins - you only need the feed and water, maybe a bit of electrolytes for the first few days but I would discontinue it after that unless there's a specific reason for it.
