Odd question but how soon do chicks poop?

Think its pooped a little bit, the other 2 went in with it today and I showed them how to eat and drink too, only one hasn't figured out drinking yet but they all have the hang of eating. The first chick is so noisy though! Every time I take my hand out of the brooder, he makes such a noise! When my hand is in there, he scurries around underneath it, as if my hand is mother hen. Every time my hand moves somewhere else, he follows underneath to make sure he is still in its shadow. Its so darn cute! The other 2 don't do that yet, hope they will.
