My favorelle has a little deformity with her beak but it doesn't seem to slow her down or cause her any problems. She is getting picked on by one of our "girls" that turned out to be a guy and he is leaving as soon as I find him a home!
Below are two photos of Daisy. It is slightly crooked and has a little gap to one side.

Anyone seen this before or know if it can lead to more serious problems?!

First photo is the gap and second photo shows how it is slightly crooked/ angled to one side.

There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked chick, which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
I think she'll be just fine. Maybe even work itself out as she gets older.

As long as she's getting along right now okay, I wouldn't worry. I've heard that the faverolle breed gets picked on a lot because they aren't very agressive in fighting back, like with pecking order.

She does get picked on quite a bit right now. Luckily the bully is getting ready to find a new home.

she seems just fine and doesn't act like it affects her negatively in any way other than she looks a little funny at certain angles.

We have a hen with a beak like this. Did you ever find out what this is called? Ours definitely doesn't seem to get as much food as the others because of it.

Hi there, this thread is 10 years old, you might want to make your own thread for quicker response.

Did you ever determine what this issue is? We have a hen with the same thing and she definitely doesn't eat as much as the others because of it. Would love to know if clipping could help.
