We have 19 isa browns at 2+ years old. We now get from 10 to 15 eggs a day. Today we got 13 and one was a bit paler than the others with freckles on it. It was really thin and had a dent in it when we collected it and I even put another dent picking it up. I'm surprised it survived even that long. They have free feed oystershell and are eating a good feed. We also have been giving them other stuff for their and our entertainment. Would this have anytign to do with it or is there another reason. Could it be because of their age that the egg plant is slowing down? Could it be one that hasnt been laying and is now setting the assembly line up? Its odd because none of the other ones is having any problem. Yesterday we had one egg a lot lighter than the rest but the shell was fine. Could it be from the same hen? Should we be thinking of culling?
