OEGB and serama - sex and colour advice please!

Thanks @JedJackson that's interesting.

Why do you think the breeds are mixed?

I found the ebay listings I bought the eggs from, which show some possible parents, at least they are some of the breeders birds.

I can see some wheaten and BBR.

I wish I could find a good wildtype chicken colour chart to compare with.
I didn't realize these were from Britain. They have entirely different standards there, so you can pretty much disregard what I wrote about OEGBs as far as color and leg color go. I still think the coloring is mixed for the OEGBs, though, but would have to see the British poultry standard to be sure. I know that slate colored legs are acceptable in Australia and probably Britain, too.

Ok, so they are 6 weeks old now. I'm a bit confused about the serama sexes. I thought I knew but now not so sure. Pics below.

Serama 1 is white with a black tail and I've called him Elvis. He really is an obvious cockerel to me. Big red comb and wattles and an attitude.

Serama 3 is mottled (so far but colours still developing). I've swung from male to female and back again. Smaller less red comb than Serama 1.

Serama 5 is black and brown. He is called Lenny and a boy based on his thick legs. But now I'm not so sure based on comb that he is a cockerel. It is mostly black. He is a real mummy's boy 🤣. Getting some gold on his neck though.

Let me know your thoughts. I'll post about the OEGBs later on.

Here are the three musketeers!

Update!

Pretty confident all 3 seramas are cockerels. The first 2 below are crowing and have male feathering. The white one, Elvis isn't crowing yet, and he is smaller and no male feathering yet, but his face is all boy.

Update on the OEGBs.

I have two pullets and one cockerel. Any confirmation on colour types? Male looks BBR?

The varieties of your type of OEGBs are different than the varieties I am used to, but I think you have a wheaten and a partridge. If the cockerel had chipmunk down as a chick, he’s a BBR. If he had yellow down, he’s a wheaten.

@Rhodebar Lover are you familiar with UK OEGB varieties?

The first one was a chipmunk (OEGB 6 in the OP), second pinkish one was OEGB 2 in the OP and was yellow/white and the third one (cockerel) was OEGB 4 and also yellow/white as a baby. So that makes him Wheaten? How interesting!
