OEGB/ko shamo cross

Well, I got a quad of oegb's today, I'll try and post pics later if I can get them to cooperate. Is a ko shamo larger than a bantam, I thought I had read somewhere that they were bantam sized shamos?

Well, the birds still look similar. My chick should bear semblance to the other cross anyways. The comb may be off but shape is similar so body build and health can still be useful.


Anyways I googled it and found a video comparing them.

They may have minor differences but I'd still say their pretty similar. How my chick grows probably won't be much different even if her father was a koshamo. =P


…after seeing this video i wonder how my chicken was made ._. such a size difference...

Yeah I know... I dont even know how he could mount one 0.o I wonder how big the chick will get, she's small and her egg was small. (actually the egg when I got it was heavily soiled and covered in some blood I think ._.) Was going to toss it but I just cleaned it off... I wonder why... My friends birds looked healthy. Maybe it had to do with being fertilized with a big ol shamo...

BTW your two birds are gorgeous! Man, I need more OEGB'S... When I get a good coop I am getting some bantams like that!

I wonder how the Shamo caught the hen actually... 0.0

Lol, it was probably easy to catch her, the rest looks like it would have been difficult, poor little hen

He's have had to corner her- those little guys are fast and can fly into trees ;.;
I feel bad for her but I'm glad I have the result 'cause it's so cute. I've noticed unlike the other 10 chicks this one runs around and you can see its tail up already. I know the adults have high tails but I didn't expect to see that yet, looks sorta funny because it's still fully downed.
