This is one of my new little additions. I purchased "her" because I thought it was a Silver Duckwing Old English Game Bird, however this one is darker feathered than my 1 year old Silver Duckwing. Any ideas on what color variation this little one is? Is it an OEGB? I'm also starting to think I may have a rooster because of the redning comb. Chick is about 5 wks old. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!!

He's silver duckwing; he'll lighten up slightly as he grows, the silver will progress down the back slightly, but he'll always be darker than a pullet of the same. This colour is gender-specific, as males are black-breasted whilst females get a salmon breast and more greyish tones in the general plumage.

Thank you so much! Your description of a pullet is my little hen to the t. Thank you for clarifying the color difference between the sexes. I had no idea!
