Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Roe gave the SolarWing a strange look, the human clinging to him excitedly. Tears and scapes marred the red dragon's body, fresh blood oozing out with every movement- Roe was surprised he was still standing.
She cocked her head at the silver dragon to her left. "Eclipse? Is all well?" Her eyes landed on the SeaWing, who was also severely injured, but standing. Eclipse must have used the serum.

Tobias rounded the corner, rushing into the lot, "Roe, I-"
He stood motionless for a moment, his mouth open slightly as his eyes locked on Helios.
Quite a few seconds passed.
"August?" Roe said slowly.
Tobias inhaled sharply, "Yeah, yea- yea. S-sorry." He tore his gaze away from Helios, looking as though he were thinking a million other thoughts as he continued, "We need to start.. uhm, moving to the truck yard." He swallowed, his gaze wandering back to the red dragon. "The hall is.. the hall is full."
Roe glanced from the SolarWing, then back to Tobias. "Eclipse? Assist Tobias in moving the dragons to the truck yard. Fracture 2 is stationed there. I will work here with Gables."
Tobias cocked his head at Eclipse, shrugging slightly with an expectant look.
"Everything is fine in here," Eclipse said, nodding to Crest, who was still watching from the small pool he'd found in one of the cages. "I don't think we will have to worry about stragglers too much."
She glanced between Tobias and Helios, sensing Tobias' sudden nervousness at meeting the Solarwing King.
"Helios, this is Sol's friend, Tobias," she said, flicking a wing at the human. "You guys can talk later." She nodded to Roe as she slid out of the lot and began signaling for the freed dragons to follow her. "Tobias, you are going to have to show me the way to the truckyard. I am not familiar with the Maze just yet."

Bloodmoon ran down the hall and towards the truck yard. He panted to a halt when he saw Fracture. "Can I do anything to help? I was held up with Rose for a while."
"Yes." Fracture replied, in Dragon, ducking her head into lots as she made her way down the hall. "Owens! He is herre." Fracture stopped, nodding at a seemingly empty lot, her dark skin very similar to Gables in color, though Bloodmoon could only register her accent as 'African.'
A young girl jogged down the hallway towards them, straight brown, red streaked hair cropped to her shoulders.
"Walk with me." Fracture ordered Bloodmoon, striding into the lot, ducking her head under the doorframe, her long, black, braided hair swinging. "Therre is a RainWing in herre. Watch yourrself."
Owens slipped behind Fracture and into the lot, dwarfed by the incredibly tall woman. "He isn't afraid to use his venom, he nailed Northern. Watch your six."
Fracture squinted, spotting a shimmer in the air to their left. She lifted her weaponless hands defensively. "We arre not herre to hurrt you." She nodded towards the back of the lot, and Owens slowly began to cross over, her hands raised as well. "This is a brreakout. Join us. Therre is no rreason for aggrression. We arre herre to help."

Bloodmoon followed fracture into the lot and watched her talk to a Rainwing. "You want ME to go in there?"

Fracture gave him a disapproving look, shaking her head as she advanced towards the shimmering form. The RainWing definitely wasn't the best at matching his color against the walls, the bright lights not helping hide him any better.
"Show yourself." Owens said, her soft voice echoing through the lot.
"Bloodmoon." Fracture whispered, motioning him further into the lot. "He needs to see you."

Bloodmoon swallowed hard and went into the lot. He raised his head and looked at the dragon. "It's okay." He was worried that the dragon might recognize him. "We're here to help you get out of here. You can be, well, free."

"Of course." Tobias walked quickly beside her. "Gosh, they look similar, huh?" He removed his hat, dragging fingers through his hair.
Eclipse nodded. "He's a spitting image of Helios, that's for sure," she tilted her head in consideration, a small smile playing on her features. "Honestly, I would have never guessed Sol was a prince any other way. He certainly doesn't act like royalty." She recalled their conversation in the lot the day before, Sol flopped over undignified upsidedown on the floor. "If it weren't for how much he looks like his father, I might've never known." She glanced at Tobias and gave him a light nudge with her wing.
"I think Helios is going to like you. You helped his son survive this place and you are decent for a human. Besides, he's got a big heart. Most other royals are too infatuated with themselves to look past differences in other tribes, let alone different species. He'll understand, you'll see."

Owens suddenly gasped turning around and scrambling back.
"Owens, wait-" Fracture began in an urgent tone, but the girl shook her head.
"He's behind us." She whispered, her eyes squinting at the wall.
Fracture hissed, pointing at Bloodmoon, her eyes straining to find the dragon, "Close that door." She shot a look at Owens. "I seem to rremember you saying, 'watch your six?'"
Owens snorted, "You were just as fooled as- gosh, there!" She motioned to the far right corner, and Fracture spun fast on her heel. Her eyes darted across the room, and she slowly reached for the gun beneath her jacket. "Therre arre two." She said in a low tone.

Bloodmoon slammed the door and watched the drama unfold. Two!? He raised his wings in a defensive position and got ready to fight, if needed.
