Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

(Now for Alyssia's part)

She had been a little taken aback by Austin's comments. She thought her plan was going to work. It wasn't the best plan ever, but she still thought it would work out. His questions were starting to get to Alyssia and she started to doubt her plan. Is it really going to work? Frustration and worry started to creep into her heart. Placing a hand on her hip to look more defiant, she tried to keep down her building frustration. He looked into her eyes, "I was just making sure that you know what you're doing. I don't want this plan falling through on you."
Her mind was swimming. How could he care? He has no idea who we are. And, we captured him! His hazel eyes seemed to be so caring though. They seemed like they could place a spell on whoever.
Finally, she tore her gaze away and looked back at the jeep. "Oh....thanks, but I think we'll be ok." Another confused look crossed her features. "Why do you care anyway?"
A smile crossed his face. "I can't let a pretty girl like you get captured by the Den now can I?" He winked and turned as Apple and Blackout came back. Apple seemed to say something to Blackout and then turned back towards the direction of the oasis.
Alyssia blushed hard at the comment and was so happy that Austin turned away so he couldn't see it. Blackout came up and spoke, Austin translating.
"They found the limo and want us to go over there....I think."
Alyssia's face lit up, the previous experience being shoved to the back of her mind to be processed later. "They found the limo! Terrific!!! Let's go!" She ran over to Whitestar, a bounce in her step from excitement. "May I please ride you, Whitestar?" she decided to ask, the urgency evident in her voice.
Whitestar was jolted out of his thoughts as Apple landed roughly in the sand nearby. The Rainwing's scales were rippling uncontrollably with a mix of all sorts of colors and Whitestar wasn't sure what a single one meant. She looked a combination of furious and hurt, and before Whitestar could even say anything, she was already flying back toward the oasis.
Whitestar stared after her in shock for a long moment before glancing back at Blackout, Alyssia, and the hunter, watching Alyssia in amusement as she bounced excitedly toward him. He knelt down beside her again and held out his talon to boost her up like before in the oasis.
"I feel like someone should go after Apple," he said quietly, turning back to Blackout. "I'm not sure what's wrong--actually, I don't think anyone is--but I think it's safer we all stick together."
He stood up as Alyssia clambered up between his shoulders.
"We'll start by heading to the transport. Once we get there and Alyssia can start working on the plan, maybe I can go talk to her."
He turned in the direction the Rainwing had come from and, after giving Alyssia a small warning, he lept into the air and began flying in the direction of the limo.

(I know, I know, it's terrible, I am not really in it today, yesterday was rough. I will try throughout the day to get back into it more)

Bloodmoon balanced the many jars in his large talons. The dragon gave him creepy bugs and worms. Maybe she shouldn't trust me with these. She finally bandaged his tail and put a cool cream on it. He looked up at her when she mentioned a Venomous Spit Spider. "Um, maybe you should take these things. Like, now. Please."
Rose looked at him In confusion, then realized he still had the bugs. “Oh right, they’re harmless! Unless you open the jars of course…” She said, taking the many insects back and placing them gently in her pouch.

Rose, And yours?” She asked politely, scanning him with a curious eye. He had too many scars to not be a fighter and he had a deep red tint to his black scales.
"Bloodmoon," He said uncomfortably. He shifted from side to side and glanced over his shoulder. "I'd better be going if I'm going to catch Fracture and Co. Thanks again Rose." With that, he started walking towards the exit.

Rebellion? Oh boy….
Helios picked the human up and placed him atop his back, making sure his scales were as cold as possible. His fire had begun to return and he was grateful that he could control his temperature again. He hurried over to the other cages, the doctor holding onto his horns tightly and watching as all his study dragons, who were actually kept in quite nice cages with adequate food and water along with temperature controlled spaces for the many dragons he studied, were let out and freed.
“Why are you letting my dragons out?! All at once too! They’re going to make such a mess! Frostbreath stay away from the microscopes! Cloudfall don’t get near the computer or else!” He said as if they were old friends, and he had to keep them out of trouble. Helios was amazed, this scientist actually cared, albeit still in an odd way. Suddenly more humans appeared, but Eclipse gave him a reassuring nod. As the rest of the dragons were freed, the room became quite crowded.
“Ok, what rebellion? Where are we going?” Helios asked, ignoring the human on his back for a moment as he told a young Mudwing to stay out of the potted plants or else he wouldn’t get mud for a week. “Explain, please. And….have you seen Sol?”
Crest saw the giant dragon and caught a slight glimpse of movement behind the giant dragon before being engulfed in a giant hug. He felt the cool lunarwing's scales against his, but the more prevalent feeling he had was the warmth from the king's wings. Something in him seemed to be revolted by it and he shifted uncomfortably in Helios' grasp. I may have almost killed you. How have you forgiven me so easily? Being released from the embrace, he went back to having his head lowered submissively but still watching the two dragons and keeping his senses alert to everything around them.
He watched the two converse when the solarwing looked his way, "I'm glad you're alive, Soldier, I wasn't sure if....nevermind."
Crest's interest had been nudged and he wanted to know more. Wasn't sure if what?! If they killed me! Did I do something so awful I should be put do death. Unless....did I almost die? He halted this dangerous train of thought and focused again on what the dragons were doing.
Movement caught his eye and he tensed. A small human stood with a camera ready to snap photos of them. Crest quickly assessed the small human. Doesn't look threatening. His weapon is just one of those picture devices that humans like. Doesn't seem to have any immediate weapons. The human began speaking dragon and Crest relaxed a little, deciding that he wasn't an immediate threat. He took a few steps towards the human as Eclipse pulled out some weird silver object and held it in mid air with what seemed like her mind. Is this what legends call "warping"? He took another step towards the human almost defensively. He didn't want any unnecessary deaths.
No more death...not now.
He tried to keep up, his headache beginning to return and his thoughts swirling in his head. Another human came bursting in and she glanced at him. I must look like a wreck. He thought, slightly amused. He continued opening cages and letting dragons out. The well kept dragons had so much. They had food and
Water.
He stared at the substance like it was a dream. The dragon from the cage escaped it, but Crest stayed staring at the water. The others were making their way to the doors, but Crest stayed. He stared into the pool, memories seemingly swimming in it. Nothing made any sense. He was fighting, then he saw nightwings, then he saw Minami, now he's escaping, and they are planning a rebellion. Nothing made sense! His head hurt from it all. But one thing made sense to him. Water is life.
His animal instincts suddenly kicked in and he dove for the water, not caring who or what might stand in his way. He drank deep and long, relishing each drop. It felt like complete relief to him. Nothing else seemed to matter. Water....home...life.
Eclipse was waving dragons outside the lot with one wing, murmuring instructions to the ones who looked more confused. There were so many of them, all of them from almost every tribe between both continents. She glanced up as Helios began speaking again, his deep, rumbling voice standing out among the various growls and mutters.
"There's not much else to it," she started. "There is a rebellion of humans and dragons that's been planning this escape for a long time." She shrugged. "I guess we were lucky enough to be brought here right as it was starting. I believe we are heading toward the Cloud Mountains at the top of the continent, but I'm not sure."
She paused for a moment, giving instructions to a young Silkwing before answering Helios's second question.
"I did see Sol. I spoke with him a bit," she hesitated, meeting the king's eyes nervously.
"He fought in the arena the day after we were brought here so-" she swallowed. "He fought so that his owne- friend, could buy me. He was badly injured but," seeing the look on Helios' face she continued quickly "But he's okay. He is recovering okay. It's just gonna take a little while.. I talked to him and he... he's a little nervous about seeing you again, but I think everything will turn out okay."

Roe gave the SolarWing a strange look, the human clinging to him excitedly. Tears and scapes marred the red dragon's body, fresh blood oozing out with every movement- Roe was surprised he was still standing.
She cocked her head at the silver dragon to her left. "Eclipse? Is all well?" Her eyes landed on the SeaWing, who was also severely injured, but standing. Eclipse must have used the serum.

Tobias rounded the corner, rushing into the lot, "Roe, I-"
He stood motionless for a moment, his mouth open slightly as his eyes locked on Helios.
Quite a few seconds passed.
"August?" Roe said slowly.
Tobias inhaled sharply, "Yeah, yea- yea. S-sorry." He tore his gaze away from Helios, looking as though he were thinking a million other thoughts as he continued, "We need to start.. uhm, moving to the truck yard." He swallowed, his gaze wandering back to the red dragon. "The hall is.. the hall is full."
Roe glanced from the SolarWing, then back to Tobias. "Eclipse? Assist Tobias in moving the dragons to the truck yard. Fracture 2 is stationed there. I will work here with Gables."
Tobias cocked his head at Eclipse, shrugging slightly with an expectant look.
