Eclipse grunted from the effort as pieces of warping chipped off the shield. She pulled the splinters back and slid them over the back of the disc, trying to keep up with the constant firing and reinforce the shield. It took every bit of focus she had not to lose her grip and send the whole thing splintering apart.
"It... shouldn't. But if I can't... contain it..." she grunted, breaking off as a small hole appeared in the back and she jammed a larger piece of broken warping into it.
"Just keep shooting."

Tobias groaned, taking a few more wild shots, then motioning Eclipse back behind a wall. "Go, go." He ushered her back again, the noise dying down considerably as they disappeared from the guards view.
"If that shield breaks and we're out there, I die, Eclipse. Not that- like.. I mean, I will be obliterated the moment we loose that shield." He wiped sweat off his cheek. "Can you pull this off?"

Nic panted. "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." More shots rang out and Nic grimaced. He reloaded his Glock quickly then aimed it. One guard, two guards down. He felt a sharp pain in his right wrist and looked down. Blood already covered the site of the bullet wound. Touching his earpiece, he said, "Ferrin, I'm shot. It's not bad, but it's my gun hand. Monzy, what's your ETA?"

Roe strode into the truck yard, utter chaos greeting her as dragons were rushed off into truck after truck.
Gables hurried off to help, Roe quicky stationing herself beside Hauk, who was watching the hall for team Ferrin.
Nicolas' voice buzzed in her ear, and she clenched her jaw, nerves jumping.
Monzy didn't reply right away- but when he did it was difficult to make much out of his words.
"We're comin in!" He shouted. "Eve'yun be rrady at the truck yard, we got an army behind us."
"Gongll, how many trucks do you have out?" Ferrin asked, gun shots ringing in the background.
Roe glanced to Hauk, who nodded, answering for her, "Down to around ten, maybe, Ferrin. Saving them for Monzy's crew."

One guard collapsed, blood staining his trousers. "Ferrin, can't hold em back much longer. Permission to retreat to Tobias' group?" The leader of Tobias' group had blanked from his mind, but no time to ponder. He crouched and tried to fire his pistol again. Firing aimlessly, he blinked hard. The world was spinning too fast for him to sense his bearings. A second later he heard a shot and collapsed. 'Dead'

Eclipse dissolved the shield completely and reformed it, summoning the rest of her warping to try and reinforce it. "Depends on how well you can shoot with that thing," she said sarcastically, flicking her head at Tobias' gun. "Just don't distract me. I think I can hold it together long enough." She hesitated. "Do you think we should call for backup or have you got this?"

Ferrin stopped mid-sentence, swearing as Nicolas slumped to the ground. "We lost Nicolas." He spoke quietly, leaning against the wall, a finger on the ear piece. "Tobias, retreat. We will have a vantage point further back by the yard."
There was a sudden thud, and the shooting stopped for but a moment as Monzy burst through the large double doors yelling as he charged through the hall, a stream of colorful scales pouring through the doorway behind him.
Ferrin ducked back. "Monzy incoming."
Tobias' voice blared in his ear, "We need backup!"

Roe immediately turned back from the doorway, facing the truck yard. "I am going."
Hauk took a few quick glances from her to the lot. "I'll go. I'm coming." He shouldered his gun, following Roe down the hall.
Three more out of B.O.B's group joined them Kai, Blade, Decker.
As they hurried down the hall, a group of dragons careened around the corner- Fracture and Owens leading them to the truck yard.
"We'll be right with you, Gongll." Fracture shouted over the rushing movement, ducking quickly to the side as dragons loped into the truck yard.
