off balance :(

hi everyone,

My cockerill is a buff orpington, he's 2 years old. and for 1 year on and off he has had problems with balance. he no longer roosts on the perches with the girls at night time, instead he sits on the ground undernieth them. He also tends to regularly fall over. after seeing the vet he was put on baytril 2.5% oral anti-biotics for a suspected ear infection. This is a regular thing. Is this a condition alot of B.O's suffer with.. he hates the medicine and i hate to see him suffering. can anybody help?

Unfortunately he had to be put to sleep by the vet as it was meningitis thanks for the link though
