off topic-I procrastinate big time

I did my Christmas shopping last night. I need to wrap all these gifts tonight. Here I am on the chicken forum not wanting to be bothered.
I am sitting here watching "An American Beauty" for the 6th time. Great movie.
I just can't get my butt up and wrapping gifts. I don't even have the tree up yet. I need to hire a "me" to do all this stuff!-Karen

I finished buying yesterday. I still haven't wrapped a thing. I've been baking cookies for three days, and am plum worn out. Gotta pull away from this keyboard and bake three more batches, plus wrap.........

I've been scrambling to get orders out, and 2 chicken coops. Been working many hours on 2 coops, one sold and the other was extra to sell. Well, I sold the extra yesterday and I have to have them done by the 28th. UGH, so yeah, I feel your pain. Can't let DH help, he gets cranky that I want everything straight and square.

I don't have a tree set up. I got a little container lemon tree for Christmas so I'm using that as our tree. (I know, lame)

Mom is coming in tonight at 10:20, and I'm trying to clean up the spare room for her. Well, when I'm not on here.

Finished shopping yesterday.

We have no kids here, just me and DH and our mom's so I guess the whole no tree thing won't be too heart breaking. Mom will miss the grand kids in CA though I'm sure.

I'm such a Bah-hum-bug. But with my Fibromyalgia, I just do what I have to.

Ok, cookies are done for the night (one more batch of lemon sables tomorrow morning, then fini!) and I got the fake (I hate fake trees, but such is life) tree out in the truck, it'll come in tomorrow morning after it stops raining buckets. YS's girlfriend is going to help decorate it while he's at work. Thank goodness my mother let me off the hook for dessert on Christmas Day, she said to just bring cookies

Don't even worry about it. I still haven't bought all the gifts I need to and we don't even put a tree up.

I work for a non-profit which works with kids. We have a big Christmas party for them, with gifts for each of them, so I wrapped over 60 presents Told my family I'm just putting their gifts in paper bags from Raleys and stapling them shut! Doesn't take long that way!
