They inspected and said the Reporter lied about it. Was it a cover up or did the Reporter just lie to get headlines.... We will never know.

When DH, DS and I were driving to PA we stopped at a McD's right over the CT border with RI. We waited over 20 minutes for the breakfast sandwiches...I was Like Holy sheepdip are they squeezing the eggs out of the chickens???
On the way out, DH stopped at the counter and told the people there in front of the manager that his wife does secret shopping for your company and you should be glad that she's on vacation and wasn't shopping you today. One of the ladies there said thank god...LOL Everyone would have been out of a job otherwise. The manager was yakking on the phone while food wasn't being served.
One of the inspectors in China killed himself over the Petfood scandal. And another one just did himself in over the Lead Paint in the baby toys.
