Royicus, thanks for the offer. I am taking a pic, sending it to "shrink". It shrinks it to the 100, but I can't get the kbytes under 15 k no matter what I do. I even shrunk the pic to thumbprint size, under 15 bytes, and the BYC loadup still tells me that my pic is too big. Please help!

I have the same problem as seminole wind- even when I resize the pic and it fits the parameters for an avatar, byc says it's too big. I gave up a while back

99% of the time when people can't upload a 100x100 pixel image I've found that:

1) The image is a JPG image and still too big (in kilobytes)
2) Simply converting the image from a JPG to a GIF reduces the size by 70% and makes it small enought to upload.
