Lord grant me the strength to not throttle this woman, who sorely needs it.
Just got the most irritating news ever. They changed the boys' homeroom teachers. My oldest is going back to his former K &1st grade teacher, we work well, so that is good, just forwarded her the plan we METICIOUSLY set up in the spring for the transition to 6th grade. They changed his special ed teacher too, so now i have to catch them back up on plans made last easter. in 24 hours, as he has an assessment on monday.
Now my youngest son, the annoyingly brilliant one is also moved. he is going back to the most useless sack of skin on the planet. 2 years ago when we first diagnosed evan's hearing problems, we'd made some IEP arrangements in spring, but the school has 60 days to test, and summer cut it off. So the plan was the first week in school to get him re-tested. He got his teacher swapped them, and he ended up with a woman (she's not fit to be called a teacher) who instead decided to blame me for his disability. it took her 6 MONTHS to bother doing his IEP paperwork, he finally got a meeting in december and couldn't start getting help till January. nearly 9 months AFTER I first requested it. to say that i loathe this woman is the understatement of the year. 2 other kids who were special ed in her class also asked to switch out, as she frankly dislikes doing the extra work.
Now she's questioning why my 7 year old is in 4th grade and wants to retest him. I may strange her.
unfortuately I'm not drinking soda, but rather shewing on fresh licorice and I felt the chunks might get lodged so I strained to maintain what little composure I posses, at least until I swallowed.
Tom's from eHarmoney, It hasn't even been a year yet since our first face-to-face meeting and so far we've taken an international cruise, swam with dolphins, got engaged, bought a house, live with my kids, sold some houses, now we're raising chickens and building a barn and we couldn't be happier! Total bliss, all the time.

And met Mrs. dacs and dacs.
That's right! And we have the pictures to prove it
