Man. What a day you all had.

Maple that ex of yours is like an evil energizer bunny. Hope his batteries go out soon. (Did you get a package in the mail?)

Debi, wow. Hope Ken gets a job soon.

Ducky, I share your pain. Popped my knee on a run last week and then went on a 9 mile jog/walk yesterday. Oops. I think it could be worse though. Glad to hear you got your laptop. Yeah!

Beaner, that camel needs a toothbrush. Bleh.

Nothing from Algae or Cici, do we have babies? Ooops, I see Algae was on earlier.

And hugs to all.

Mornin boo.

My Icelandics are silly and keep trying to roost in the trees. The old coop is too small for everyone I guess.

My new compost bins are working great, they had serious heat in them last night

I have been trying to get compost to coop for years, so I'm ubber excited that it is finally taking off.

The new barn is getting framed

and we are ordering the pop doors today.

I got an egg yesterday that I don't think is from one of my regulars which means one of my Icelandics has FINALLY started laying

I have to go paint my feeder now. I hope you are all well and Algea and the boys are perking along like they are supposed to

Yea BABY! Framed and happy about it!

I am cleaning the back porch of all things chicken. Soon it'll be fit for people again.

I had the troops out today...we got a lot done. The living room is officially a living room...been cleared of the mass piles of books, office stuffs, photographs, and music thangs...records, cds, speakers....

I was busy making sense of the basement yesterday. Since I moved if I said it goes in the basement then people dumped it in the basement but not in an orderly fashion. So I went around and moved the boxes all around the perimeter freeing up the middle space. That way when the troops came today and I had something to get out of the way that I would sort through later I would say basement but make sure you stack it along the perimeter...leave the middle freed up. This way as my granny child advocate friend who was over said it looks like you're in control of things if things are orderly stacked. My mom worked in the kitchen and thats just about done. The girls worked at picking up their toys and clothes and bringing things up to their bedroom and even thier bedrooms are looking better...they have 3 nice sized closets in thier rooms so it was just a matter of putting the grow into clothes in a space, their now clothes in a space, and thier toys in a space.

My mom also worked in the bathroom, we finally cleared the boxes out so we could fit in this small but tall chest that will be perfect for towels and toiletries since the only other space was under the sink but not enough to hold everything bathroom related. I cleared out a closet across from it to make space for all the winter coats and snow pants...and also a small wire shelf thing to hold the humidifiers and that sort of jazz. I worked in sorting the guest room...getting a bag of trash...odds and ends like stretched out socks and what not, and a bag for donation and folding the linens and beddings and making room on the shelves for my sewing. I have yet to get to my bedroom but that isn't so bad because me and my mom already sorted my clothes and stored in storage bins on the bottom of my closet the winter clothes and hung and put in the dresser my now clothes. My bed is still at the old house "staging" and then I've got to tackle the window seat of my keep sakes...I was thinking but couldn't remember if my window seat lifts up...that would be handy then I could put my keep sakes in there if it does. My dining room was a catch all of sorts. I had boxes going for my sister to sell in her ebay empire or flea markets and also that's where we'd use the long dining room table as an assembly line to go through baskets and boxes and sort for donation... Just a little bit left in there to go. Now time to catch up on laundry.

The girls have been REALLY good...we left for subway a little bit ago and they picked up their barbies and put them in the toy box in the living room before we left. Such a proud moment. It was like that at the other house but since moving the toy box was burried with the books and music boxes.

I really needed this help. I would mention things to friends how I was overwhelmed but nothing ever manifested as far as the friends that said they'd come and help me sort...they just never did come help. I would mention needing help several times. I know times are busy for them but it's kinda sad when they say they'll help but they don't. I see facebook stuff about them doing all this fun stuff...going places and saying stuff like having a cook out with friends...and I think...isn't there 2 hours out of a day here and there to come help me? I don't know. I still love em. I just wish I would have gotten help before I got an unexpected visitor. At any rate, I'm seeing the positive out of this is that certain people are showing up here at my home and we got a ton done today and the house is looking so much better and I'm not feeling as overwhelmed as before. It feels good to sit on my couch in a living room that has NO clutter. It looks so pretty besides the ugly curtains that came with the house. My mom has my tab top curtains at her house from my old house she was washing and going to bring here...now to find me a handy person to hang my cool black iron cast rods with the scrolls at the ends...then my living room will be complete.

Good going Maple! Let's put the jerk in line with the insurance idiots. Monday at 9am, it will be c-section time here. Dr just doesn't want to mess with trying natural, oxygen sats aren't bad as they were, but they aren't lovely either.

Sigh. New plan, maybe. I am stable and fine. Minotauro and Minotoro are fine. Monday is 36 weeks. Dr said if I am comfortable, he'd like to go as long as possible. Argh

Want them out, but I know the longer the better.

ugh...I can't imagine.

I'd want them out too but we all know we have to do what's best for babies.

Yes. Every single day helps. I was very premie 50 plus years ago and they didn't even weigh me for a week, nobody thought I'd make it. 2 1/2 lbs. Been stubborn ever since.

DD#3 was 3 weeks early and had motor delays. Neurologist called it a light case of CP. Still, years of physical therapy and she's pretty okay now, just uncoordinated.

Hang tough Mama.

Yeah, I will keep at it. Sniff

these are the last babies for us. I can hold out to give them the best start. Dr thinks I can probably go to 37 weeks, so go on we will.
