The ccr's quoted and attached to my complaint letters do not appear to be the same as the ones given to us when my landlords bought the house. Hmmm. Going to go get the originals.

Go get 'em girlfriend. You can also petition for a change if it becomes a problem. Borrow a silkie and take it to a meeting. A well-mannered one.

Good morning

Best of luck to you mcfly

hope you are haboob safe laree

ducky, pb&j graham bars for breakfast this morning with apple and milk

I got a good start on cleaning my house last night!! And, it will stay clean all day while I am at work today!

I thought my chickens weren't laying, but I found their new spot, not in the nest box, in the dirt
Guess I will move their box to that spot, its a cool spot!

Morning all.

Hugs to everyone having medical issues in their families

Not fun.

Laree, special hugs to you, dear.

Maple, I just ripped that dog wallpaper border out of my camper... my mom wallpapered EVERYTHING so I'm not a fan of paper on walls.

Anyone ever submit a story to a magazine?

My mom said i should send a few of my stories (if I'd ever write them down) of farm life to Reader's Digest, but RD doesnt accept unsolicited stories longer than 1000 characters. I'm looking at Country Magazine... but I'm not familiar with the proceedure. Anyone done this before?

Mornin all. Tooth still hurts. Pain meds seem to be giving me a raging headache. Need to flip a coin to see which is worse.

Someone was soliciting stories recently. Laree did I send you a link?

McFly, Sorry. Hope you get around it. Our nosy neighbor just found out we have chickens so I'm waiting to see if the HOA is getting involved. I plan to visit with eggs this morning as soon as the headache subsides.

Morning everyone.

Gretchen I love your house BUT I SEE AN OLD BUTTERCHURN! I wanted one of those but I couldnt make a convincing argument to DH for one. He'd ask why do you want it and all I could respond is because I WANT ONE! I also couldnt justify the cost

. I think I need to go to my family reunion in Sterling, Il. and make a visit to you and sneak it into my truck, I'll just happen to leave a few buck on the table LOL.

Ms Deb, vitamin C and lots of it. I could explain in length but trust me, take 1000 mg every hour or so. It will kill the pain AND help speed the recovery. My chiro told me this when I had my wisdom teeth out a loooooong time - uh, I mean, uh.... a little while back

Not only did I not take a single pain pill but I went camping cause I had taken time off to recover and I was bored silly. I take 1000/hr the day of oral procedures and then 1000/2 hours the next day, 1000/3 hours the next and so on... If I know the procedure is coming I load up the days before too.

Good luck!

You can contact the submissals department directly for their preferred method--but before you send anything, send a hard copy to yourself in the mail. Make sure it is postdated before you send the submittal to the magazine. Do not open it, file it away.
