Hi Michelle!!

Ya know, I do have pink shoes. But, they are flats, will that do?

At least I didn't get up till 5am today. Better than my 3am yesterday!

Thanks, Boo! It'll be fun to see what they turn out to be. My friend Theresa wants 3 chickens: a white egg layer and 2 brown egg layers and my friend June was 6 or 7 brown egg layers and I get to keep or sell the rest. I hadn't been paying close enough attention to my flock when our foster placement was here. I would go down every few days (they have huge feeders and an auto watering system) to check the feed/water levels and gather eggs, but I hadn't been doing a headcount. About a week ago I noticed my blue hen was missing and where is that ugly naked-neck hen and where are my cochin crosses? Turns out I had a hole in the fence and they were escaping one by one and getting picked off by predators. I found piles of feathers in the woods. I patched the hole and now I need more chickens! So I'm really excited about these babies.

Sorry you're sick, too.

Boo, your pink flats will be perfect as long as you're in them.

Boo have some tea with honey. Honey is a natural atibiotic, add some vitamin C and you've got a start on winning the battle with that bug.

oh, sorry about your chicken loss.
I'm thinking next time the feed store gets chicks, I am going to have to replace Cotton and Sheila. I really miss Cotton.
Sheila wasn't as sweet as Cotton, not sure if I can ever find such a sweetie as Cotton was.
I still keep hoping she is brooding in the neighbor bushes somewhere, but, I know better.
