Nope, never had a headache (physical) from having long hair. A lot of mental headaches if I cut it shorter than waist/mid back because it's so freaking curly, if I cut it short, it gets insane.

My daughter calls mine "The white-woman fro"

But now that I found a goop that works for me, I like it. Although - there are days....

I get headaches if I crank it down too tight or if it's really long and I put it in a ponytail, all that weight in one place, but if I french braid it that seems to relieve that problem.

One would think perhaps that my 6'6" DH could steal eggs from the idiot hens, or pick them off their nests and kick them out of the coop for the day. But nooooooo, that is scary and the hens are mean, so he won't steal eggs. Seriously, we do NOT need 32 hens with chicks in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm being reasonable and waiting for quail, but DH can't kick the idiot hens off their nests.

Let it be said however that the 'Dottes are excellent mothers and will happily raise chicks without human involvement, and will happily raise all the chicks hatched, so if the Marans and Cochins decide to ignore chicks, I'm not too worried.

But seriously, we do not need more chicks!

Erm, yeah, we are still getting the jumbo broilers.

Oh yeah, no ponytails or English braids for me, those hurt. French/Dutch braids are great, most buns are fine, or heck, I let it out to play and it's fine.
