Ok, need opinions.. Have a foster son who's been with us off and on for 3 years. He's now going all hormonal about chores.. Things that take up 10 minutes of his life.. so bad that it's been an argument last 3 days a running. I know what its like to be 13, learning the guitar, checking out cheerleaders etc.. And one of the things we talked about was putting together a daily schedule for him.. Wanted to run this by ya's.. And granted chores might be loading the dishwasher, letting the dogs out for potty, or watering the rabbits

*Failure to follow schedule or argue about assigned chores is immediate loss of IPOD, Cell Phone, Guitar, TV and Internet Privileges.
**Internet Privileges are hereby granted on childs Ipod or sisters Laptop at her discretion
***By child's own actions, he is no longer welcome, able or allowed to use the computer, usb port attached, or the music library on Boyds Desktop computer.
****Further complaining about any of this will result in grounding to the childs room. All the child will be allowed is a book to read, bathroom and food breaks until child can prove he will comply with families rules.
*****Although the foster parents feel needing to go to these extremes such as black and white daily checklists are childish for a teenager, we feel that we have little else to help this child act more like a young adult.
******There will be no flexibility on the times on the schedule for no less than 1 month unless approved by foster parent an hour before the scheduled event is to take place.
--And as such, we reserve the right and privilege to modify the schedule as needed to fit a busy families needs at no notice beyond what is fair and appropriate. You dont hold up your end of the bargain, life becomes dull and boring. You step up and join in with the rest of the family life will be as normal as we can allow you to have.
----PS......... I shall not take a person hunting with me when they are acting like a petulant 4 year old. Act your age or dont hunt with the big boys.
