DH is used to yelling at underlings, and yes, he'd have to cuss them out. He is good about not cussing a kid out - he just forgets that little ears hear things and then have the little mouth repeat those words.

I had to be diplomatic yesterday about something work related and it actually went well.

I may be turning into an adult.

Recovery from a c-section is a lot different than natural birth, isn't it?

Neither is really fussy yet, they'll wait a few weeks for that to start knowing my kids.

Me, meh, been better, been worse. The drugs are nice, but I feel so off with them. I've got the vertical incision, dr wanted the extra room if needed, and what the heck, doctor wants it, he's been otherwise reasonable and agreeable, I will go with what he wants. But my stomach muscles had already seperated, so I didn't have those cut, so I could be a lot worse off. I was just feeling so icky being that pregnant, it's nice just not being a fat sea cow. Plus, hey, I won't complain about an instant 35 lb weight loss.

After hearing about your department, now I know why all the social services employees here were either alcoholics or chain smokers or both.

Glad to hear you and the boys are doing well Algae! Are the nurses after you to get up and walk a lot? It hurts but you sure recover a lot faster.

Yup, I get up and shuffle around every few hours. Worst part is the standing up part, once I get moving, I do ok.

DH is quite the joke around here. Macho guy, so happy to have 2 healthy babies, knew they were going to be boys, but he was just a little pouty about the fact we didn't have another girl or girls instead. I'm going THANK YOU VERY MUCH! The girls have Daddy wrapped around their fingers from the first second, and he can not help it and they are spoiled girls.
