dacs! I hope you're ok!?! Did you make someone angry and get kidney-punched?

Freakin' kidney stones. I tried to tough it out but finally went to the hospital. Time for a major lifestyle change. Drink lots more water and cut way back on the good stuff like chocolate and nuts.

Lots of cranberry juice too!

I "think" I had kidney stones once.

I threw up for 2 days, couldn't walk, my lower back hurt like someone was slamming a sledgehammer into it, it hurt to lay flat, it hurt to curl up, then after 2 days of agony the 3rd day I was fine.

Not really sure what it was but I am guessing a stone.....

Then again, the same thing happened to me in May last year and the doctor said it was not a stone, gave me 2 doses of morphine and sent me home after giving me a $5k CT scan I didn't need.

Had a gallbladder stone and because I'm way too used to pain, I thought it was nothing. Sigh. Getting hit with a sledgehammer SUCKS.

DS#2 apparently did something to my innards on his way out that resulted in an infected ovary which spread to my gall bladder. No dairy, no grease, no laughing.... for a month. If i ever have another issue with my gallbladder I'm having it out.

Rotten child! Mine had to come out because the stone wasn't going away and I'd been walking around for erm 9? weeks with it.

Yeah, I still haven't learned that pain is not normal and I should not just suck it up and ignore it.

When DH was in the Army they use to tell him "Suck it up and drive on soldier" said in my most authoritative drill sergeant voice. That explains why he has so many issues now because he would ignore the pain until he couldnt move.

Erm, yes? I've kind of sort of done that. Many times.

Shane dropped a welder on his foot. It is obvbiously broken, but since the internet says there is nothing the doc can do for that particular break, he's toughing it out.

Goggles. I feel like I should be wearing safety goggles at all times.
