I sure did

I missed that. DH is the TV addict in our house. Without him around, I never turn it on, so I have no idea what's been going on this past week.

[Unless there's a thread about it on BYC - that's really where I get my news.]

I get most of my news from the internet.

Good morning!

Well, I knew that there would be dust in my puter fan if I ever got around to opening it up. So, I had my puter at my son's last night and he showed me how to open it and handed me a screwdriver.
Oh my gosh! The plates that are behind the fan inside the computer were solid dust. Not even dust anymore, but a blanket of dust, kind of like when you have to clean the dryer vent. So I went outside with my puter, got a little stick and dug that stuffs outta there, and I blew it out and dusted everything.
I'm hoping that fixes my problem of it saying it did not shut down properly etc, and that it will stay running quiet. Cuz when the CPU gets hot, the fan runs harder and then I guess puter doesn't like it and then says errors occurred while shutting down.

Remember my surprise hatch about a month ago? Then I caught five of them and fell on neighbor son's steps and cut my elbow?
Well, the remaining five with mama, one got snatched by a hawk, so there were four, then one got smooshed by doggie, so there were three, then one wandered into puppy pen to eat the dog food, so there were two, cuz I found puppy chewing on something and all that was left was a leg, yuk. Guess that chickie learned not to hop into dog food bowls.
So, since mama wasn't teaching her chickies well, and I don't really want chickies wild in my yard, three of them is enough, when she was sleeping I was able to grab another one, the favorite brown one that I wanted from the beginning!
So, now I have 6 in the chickie pen and mama has one.
I still do not know how many are roosters, no roosters for me, no more surprise hatches! I like them and all, they are cute and all, but, um well, not wild chickies all over my yard. Cuz these are the ones that just run wild around this area, the game chickens. Hardy things, but they go broody too much, hide their eggs, are flighty and scratch everywhere too much. So, I rather have them caught.
They are all growing and getting lots of feathers now, they are going to be pretty. One looks like it is feathering out to look like the rooster Cotton hatched. Poor Cotton, I miss her. Its probably going to be a rooster.

But a friend of mine said she wanted chickens, and maybe she will take roosters! Cuz when I said, you don't want roosters she said, why not?
I dunno, I don't want them.
