Its my SIL who is IDK somewhere around 45, married to DH's brother who is 35. She always gets me great stuff but I don't have the budget or the creativity to get her anything nearly as cool. She's not a reader. She's not artsy. She's not funny. She likes brown and brown alone. Her life is completely taken up by not disciplining her kids and spending summers in her way too expensive camper at the lake. Nicer than her house. The kids trashed it after like 3 weeks cause they have no rules.

Well the tree people came and left me a pile of broken branches. Sigh. They wouldn't cut off the one remaining branch that didn't break and goes over the power line. They only are repairing "damage" right now. It would have taken them two more minutes to saw through that branch.

We got 3.7 inches of snow. Heavy. Wet. Snow. It is already melting and was plopping on my head as I spoke with the guy who is assigned to apparently watch the guy who is actually working

It was funny letting the ducks out this morning. They are all spring hatch ducks except for two. The first couple came barreling out as normal and then were : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEtRoZ5FWNc

They put the halt on and then everyone else piled up behind except for the baby black silkie - she just ran under everyone's legs Of course she then realized her fallacy and tried to fly back over the ducks into the coop.

She's a baby silkie with some dandelion fluff still, she can't fly and there were more ducks jammed up in the door so that didn't work. She resorted to hopping through the snow peeping.

It's been an amusing day already.
