Pretty sure mine is a cold, not allergies, but my 33 year old gelding is wheezing away something awful from his allergies, so I'm not sure why I was wishing for spring either sparkles.

The OW thread is one of the few I personally have not successfully doomed.

I think we finally have names for all our new chicks. The white EE is Petunia (watch her be a rooster), the BO is Marigold, the gold link is Vulture (you should see the looks she gives!), the two Welsummers are Gru 1 and Gru 2 since they usually look like they're hunched up with their feathers up like a collar around their necks and they HATE to be touched, and the boys named their bantam feather-foots Phil and Chaps. Phil appears to be a girl and Chaps a boy. What an eclectic bunch...

Because... I think since I can't kill houseplants, meaties, spiders, weeds, or the stupid fish on my piano I should at least get to kill something... even if it is threads.

All I wanted was Minnesota Spring, and now I'm sneezing and wondering how stupid I can be....

We keep bouncing back and forth between spring and summer with little tastes of winter thrown in. I don't know whether to shave my legs or wear a sweater. Kinda ticks me off, since I have a toin of itty bitty chicks.

Silkies like a litle extra humidity, and if you just threw it in there I'd say odds are good for survival. It may be stupider than average due to bein scrambled by the ducks, but being a silkie you'll never notice a difference.

DH will agree. I was convinced the silkie was damaged till she hit about a year old, and now she's fine. I dont know why he still thinks shes stupid, cause she can even fly up to a roost which I find to be impressive for 12 ounces of white fluff.

Ah. You don't squarsh spiders in MN?

I wouldn't allow fish on the piano. They might knock it out of tuna....

Took me a year to teach a show shilkie I bought from a big-time breeder how to climb a ramp. Now that she knows how it kinda ticks me off I spent all winter shoving her fluffy butt through the pop door and now that its WARM OUT she can do it herself....

I'm skeert of spiders. Big time. Ask my neighbor, well, maybe dont, I'm ususally imbibing a bit whith her so my spider reactions get a little theatrical.... So no I do not squarsh spiders up here, I'm worried about them ninja jumping out of the way and then fanging my ankle.

teehee "out of tuna" LOVE that I'm telling the kids. Its actually at concert pitch which is good for a 100+ yr old upright....

Mine's not show, she's just a little splash... got her from Ducks-r-us on here. I didnt think she knew how to lay eggs till I caught her on Saturday. She's TINY and her eggs are bigger than my bantam cochin! Pointy tho, dang.

I also spent all winter picking her up and putting her IN the coop so she wouldnt freeze to death in the snow, and now she can do it herself. Doh.

I expected a groan, not a teehee.
Yes, that's very good for an old piano. Mine is only slightly older than me and had to be tuned according to one funky wire. Too old to try and fix, and if tuned true the wire would go and take something else with it(can't remember what, just didn't want to spend a billion $ trying to fix it).

Doesn't it make ya wonder if they're really stupid or just have us trained?

Pointy eggs (I think) must be easier for small birds to push out. But at least you know which end is up. I have a millie that lays golf ball-sized & shaped eggs and I NEVER know where the stupid aircell is....
