Yes, gas cost hurts. Makes me glad there will be no more shows for a while. Especially since I'll soon be out of work.

Cyn is staying with you beyond the weekend, or am I remembering that wrong?

Dozer

And MAAAAAYBE Runt

Only Dozer and HissyFit are sitting on eggs with permission.

I'd give the others eggs, if they would let me lock them in a cage or a safer area. Only Dozer (who was broody 4 times in her first 4 years of life) gets permission to be broody in the general coop. She ROCKS as a momma, but I still lock her in her nesting box so she doesnt gather extra eggs.

I named her, just now. I think I had dubbed her something else, but most of my hens get their names at either POL or during broodiness. It's when their real personality comes out.

BTW: everyone congratulate Rachel. She was on FarmBell yesterday, under "Meet the Cook". As a result, she drew a HUGE audience over The Henway, for our biggest day ever.
