Morning everyone.

Ms. ChooksinChoppers, I am fairly new here (both BYC and OW thread) and must say once I came on and introduced myself I was welcomed to the thread. We have heard about anonymous complaints about the OW thread but have I have not seen people come on introduce themselves and been rebuffed. Even though you (anyone) might be active on other threads where you may be well known you may not be known here. I have seen you (ChooksinChoppers) pop in here on occasion and make a post and then not post again for months. Is that what this is about the "lurkers" don't feel welcome? Well then come out and introduce yourselves. Join the snarkfest.

ChooksinChoopers, if you're evil, grumpy, and love to complain about all things related to work

, then by all means join us. If you're here for a big love fest...this ain't the thread for you.

I don't think it's so much that we want an exclusive group, it's more that most people don't understand us. Or can't stand us.

I am going to have a huge rant about one of my employees later today...

I'm pretty much a new peep here. Never had a problem joining in. Came along browsing, went OOOHHH, Office Work! Read a bit, realized I'm full of sass and snark, so I'd fit in, and I posted.

Don't be rude and nasty about working harder/longer than anyone. You can't prove it. More often than not, I'd rather trade my life with someone elses, it's almost guaranteed to be easier. I'm 39 and I've worked in some form or another for pay since 1978. I got married at 19 to get out of hell. At that point then, I'll keep my life as I love it. But I've worked since then when possible, raised kids to adults and still raising them, working a farm and loving my husband. So I've worked just as hard as the next person. The only thing I have to show for it really is the fact my 18 y/o is ready to head to college, has a full ride scholarship and has a company already wanting to hire him. Think that's the best job I could have done, and I'm VERY proud of my son for turning into a responsible, respectable adult. Even if I'm not ready for my baby to grow up.

I'm putting the vote on don't understand us, so they can't stand us. Works either way.

Woohoo, rant time!!!!!

Hrm. Drama llamas are STILL behaving. Got to love review time, eep. Good llamas, behave like this ALWAYS.

My trainee had to step out for a bit. Just got out of a big meeting too. Poptarts are in my belly. Hopefully will get my testing paperwork in the mail today. Got my show confirmation yesterday. Have already picked out everyone who is going to be sold.

I know. Its ridiculous. Bringing the 3 cute baby bunnies to sell. They are pet quality and I really want to work with show quality. So I am going to sell them too. And trying to work in a sidetrip to pick up some show quality bunnies on the way back....heehee. the 2 new cages will be perfect for 2 new bunnies, and I have enough wire on hand to make 2 more.

I am up to my eyeballs in invoicing today. A good problem to have.

Ya know, in the grand scheme of things I haven't been on BYC all that long and on the OW thread for an even shorter period. And the reason I'm on this thread is because I didn't find a welcome on any other threads...SDWD was over my head, I don't belong on Opa's place. I'm a wee fish in a big old pond on this forum, but somehow I fit right in on OW. I guess my point is, different strokes for different folks...not everyone is going to find their place on every thread or within every group. Just the way it is.

Now, on to a more serious subject - I ate way too much fiber yesterday. Frightening.
