Sigh. Charlotte's asthma is giving her fits tonight. How many Xopenex treatments can one kid handle, she's had 4 since 3pm. Think she and I will stay home tomorrow, I'm seeing a no sleep night.

The name sounds familiar - something to do with sports maybe?

I asked my husband just now and while he didn't act like he wanted to divorce me, he assumed the patient air he takes when he's teaching one of the kids some difficult concept and explained blahblahblah -football coach- blahblahblah -superbowl trophy- blahblahblah -dead now. So now I know who Vince Lombardi was. I wish I could say I was enriched by the information.

I like my kids just fine but grandkids? Eh. Maybe I'll feel differently someday but DH and I have big plans for our future that involve traveling and a sweet motorcycle. Can't babysit.

Sadly, I know who Vince Lombardi was, but only because I have a tendency to remember completely useless information once I hear it. Which is pretty much what I consider professional football - completely useless.

Well, got some sleep last night. Charlotte is curled up in the recliner, half asleep but really wired and jittery from the meds. Poor kid. Oh well, she's feeling cruddy enough that I get to cluck and fuss over her without a teenaged hissy fit.

Had to do some broody switcheroos this morning......stupid barred cochin broody (the nice sister) had eggs with staggered dates under her and she was done waiting. She has 3 hatched out and fluffy and 1 hatched out but wet.....stepped on and smashed another egg and not covering the others.

So I took her eggs and the not dry chick.....and gave them to my mottled cochin broody. So I had to take HER eggs and give them to my other barred cochin (the EVIL one)....just about lost a limb in the process. Good lord that hen is MEAN.

Still haven't gotten my testing paperwork. Going to run home at lunch to see if mail ran yet......if not, will call and see if he can fax it. No paper, no show tomorrow! And I want to sell a billion things so I need to show. Sigh.

Going to sell everything not nailed down. 2 just laying cochin mix pullets, 1 splash mottled cochin rooster, all of my speckled sussex including the 2 girls, maybe even my blue egg laying EE. All the EE pullets and the brahma....all the young 2 week old cochin mixes that aren't wheaten girls.

Going to get down to about a dozen LF birds. Almost frightening!
