I have been told, when it comes to wasps nests, spray them and leave them hanging. Future wasps looking for prime real estate will not build next to an old nest. Get someone that isn't allergic to do the dirty deed though, them suckers are fast when you spray around their eggs (worst kind of broodies).

Here is my problem.

see that little nest on the underside of the rabbit hutch top? There it is.

And directly under it, is my broody mottled cochin hen. Cannot spray as it will hit her. Cannot get her out as it will attack me.

or do it at night and then when you fall they will fly over your head as they go through the darkness...

I stood outside with a butterfly net in one hand and a flip flop in the other....for about a half hour. Couldn't make myself do it.

I had a very similar fight with a large spider, involving a can of bug spray in one hand and a swiffer duster thing in the other. I fail at bug killing.
