yes, but horse poo is not near as gross as say dog poo which is not as gross as baby kid poo.


and rendering plant - blech!

J worked on a dairy farm before mad cow disease freaked everyone out. They used to mix "lacto" on the dry feed to combine it all and feed it to the cows. Lacto is all the ground up liquidy bits of cows form the beef rendering plants. In casin you was wonderin.

I like gardening in my bare feet too sparkles. DH does not care for the shoe-leather-like appearance and texture of them by the end of summer, but that's his issue.

yeah 2 yrs ago they got a new filter system on the plant made it 90% better...before we'd call them and say throw down the pine! (meaning this super heavy duty, super high grade commercial air freshener)...

then 20 min later we'd get a wiff of pine w/cooking animal flesh..ugh
