There was a part of me that believed people that this be over in 6 months. DH was 24, I was 19. We meet 13 days before we got married. For me, he got me out of Hell. I can't imagine what he saw in me, but I will keep him.

Kelly and I talked for 3 months before our first date...... then talked for another year before our second.. then dated forever before we got married......... ps... she never left after the 2nd date

Me and Ken? Neither of us are phone people and we talked for 4 hours the night before our first date. The rest is history. We are still not phone people.

DH was helping pack his grandparents house, I was at a friends avoiding the abuse. We talked. Went to help pack next day. His mom saw some scars. DH and his dad went with me to get what little I could. Lived with him since, wedding 11 days later.
