I do wish you were brave enough to post a pic of your pg self.
You've got to be cute as can be, adorable, glowing.

I might be a weirdo, but I liked my 20's and being pg.
I actually sometimes miss those days.
I guess that's what grandchildren are for.

My dil is due in 23 days.
I got to see her baby kicking her tummy last night, so precious.

Morning All! Its miserably hot and humid today. You walk outside and it feels like your in a steam bath. I've got fans and frozen bottles in the coops. I never thought I'd say this but I am soooo ready for winter.

Algae- I loved my seramas, until they popped out of a a teeny weeny itsy bitsy non-existant hole and got eaten by the dogs.

So I DON'T have job.

My recruiter called late Saturday night, and said the CEO told my boss he didn't want to pay for a heavy(ier) hitter.

Overqualified. It exists.

Hey kids.

Weekend recap:

Friday grabbed a frozen pizza and hit the field. DH drove the bobcat, thank heavens, and I rotated both pickups with trailers. We hauled 113 bales off the field and lined them up by the road. The yard is 3/4 mile away so we then loaded trailers and hauled 8 bales at a time to the yard. Most are still by the road, it began to rain and we didn't want to tear up the alfalfa growing back.

Saturday, we did some housework and yardwork then took off to the lake around 12:30 to get the camper... which had been stewing in its own juices since last Monday. Time to bring home. Let the boys swim for a bit, took a nice canoe ride around the lake, got harassed by a loon who's baby we were NOWHERE near to coming close to, and saw the baby birds in this pic.

hooked up the camper and were just about to leave when DH's Aunt and family showed up (its their lake lot) so we ended up staying till about 9:00 taking a pontoon ride during which we cahsed a beaver because boys are dum.

Sunday after church did more housework and yardwork, halued more bales, then when it hit 95 we retreated indoors. Last night around 11:15 the dog started barking and something was yowling back at it. So out we went with guns and flashlights. The dog had chased whatever it was off, and we made a lot of noise and walked the entire yard with the light on to scare it off.

Miss me?

We were visiting my husband's family in PA and we had a really great time. We went swimming every day, had a few cookouts, went to an amusement park and stayed in a really nice hotel. We stayed at the Homewood Suites and breakfast and dinner were included in the price of the room! One of the days I walked out and left a sink of dirty dishes and they washed the dishes and shined the sink. If they let me have chickens, I'd move in permanantly.

Hey debi, my lionhead girl is named Tribble too. She is a troublemaker. I call her a tribblemaker lol. Super super breeder told me to retire her as a pet and not breed or show her. Poor fat Tribble. Nobody loves her giant self.

Laree, sorry to hear about the job.
