I did, I check out most of the links Debi and Beaner post on the bunnies. I have been struck by how many of the breeds don't even look like rabbits any more. Of course theirs still look like fluffy kissable bunnies.

I'm impressed with all the ribbons they are collecting.

Went back and revisited the link. I get the connection now.

Sort of like all the different breeds of chickens.
The first time I saw show silkies and polish chickens etc, I was like huh, those are chickens!

And then , there are the naked necks.
When I was growing up, we just had leghorns, RIR and BR.
Oh, and the game chickens are plentiful around here too.

Oh, and the roosters with the super duper long tail feathers, I'd never seen such things growing up.

I like them all!

Boo, I can take FMLA no problem. But it's a LONG time off work with that plus maternity leave. Plus, last week was just LONG, 10 hour days, when I've been at 6 hours. So I don't know yet. Will see what dr says Monday, and how I feel next weekend.

On that note, we were sitting there yesterday and heard the judge yell ALL POLISH ARE UP. Ken and looked at each other thinking the same thing - "Do they have fluffy heads too??" No they don't. They are teeny tiny versions of a Rex. Max 2 lbs. Useless.

bunny broccoli gas is awful and unforgettable. Remember ours are house bunnies, so the outgassing is live.

Lost my mind and ordered some hatching eggs.

15 coturnix quail
8 silkies (the kids picked this)
2 seramas
6 japanese banty
3 banty cochin.

(a bunch are bonus eggs being added into the orders). Warmed up the bator today.

Is that what you do, order chicks when you can't sleep at 1 am?

Best of luck with the hatch!

Everyone have a great Monday.
