Hrmmmm

I think I'm going to call in tomorrow.

I really need to clean my house. I somehow managed to NOT get anything done after dishes and dinner last night.

Speaking of dinner, I made a batch of green stuff, grilled two of our chickens from freezer camp (brined in Dale's for 2 days and left whole) and made some experimental spanish rice that was to DIE for.

I think the kids want grilled burritos tonight, I can use the left over chicken and rice in those. Woot!

This is huge for me, I havent made a frozen pizza in 3 months. At least. There isnt one "instant" type food item in my freezer.

Mom doesn't believe that I really 'know' anyone who would let someone they haven't met over to their house. Silly mom. I also want to see Tori if we get to do this marathon trip we're currently day-dreaming about. Mom's sis, who spent 2 months driving all over the US with Mom in '09, doesn't want to go back and Mom really does. I think it would be fun!

Ummm I dumped...

2 c rice
2 T Mazola Chicken Tomato Bouillon
1 chopped green onion
1 can Stoke's Green Chili

Add the bouillon and onion when the rice starts to boil. Add the green chili when the water is almost all cooked out of the rice and let it get thick.

Heck ya! I'd let you in. After all, I was let in by Purple Chicken and Belle and you're way less shady than I am

Tori's house is between 3.5 nad 4 hours from mine, it's a pretty drive though, and if you go down there you gotta go to Sal's, a great greasy spoonwith the best cinnamon rolls in the world!

Oh yeah, and then Dear Dacs actually let me meet his lovely wife too! We met at Cracker Barrell not anyone's house but still, it was a good time.

I have recently been re-friended by my teenage daughter how disowned me and moved to her dad's because I was too hard to live with (visualize the drama queen with the back of her hand pressed to her forhead)

ANYway, my ex's sister just gave birth to her first child and DD posted pics of the family in the waiting room, the mother-to-be, the new baby, the new family, you get the idea.

I'm scrolling through the pictures thinking wow, she's got huge! He sure isn't aging well, ew, what a weird looking baby...
