Beaner, I think we all know that were all nicer than you. You are only nice to old dogs and cats, and broody hens (grudgingly).

I thik of the fox like I do my hawks: It's my job to keep the chickers safe. It's their job to challenge me.

Plus, if Mr Fox goes away than the coyotes will come back. A niche is a niche. Red foxes fill it prettier.

I almost ran over a coyote last night. Silly thing tried to cross I75 at like 3 in the morning. Not a good idea. He obviously didn't look both ways before crossing. Having 70,000 pounds of truck barreling down on him changed his mind for him!

And EVERYONE is nicer than Beaner. But it's her "thing" and we love her anyways.

I don't like coyotes. I'd rather have foxeseses.

I read this as smooch a roo, and my first thought was that would cause pecky lips....

Good, because by the weekend the lows will be mid-30's. Baby chicks do not want....

It's only supposed to dip to the 40s. I am moving the GL pullets in with their new boy friends and putting the "tweens" out in the Building. I have the pen all set up, I have to go get more shavings though. My last hatch super sucked. I know it's because of using the LG. I hate when things go badly because of ME!

Cleaned up the barn yesterday before I got too tired.

Foot still hurts but it's better.

J is still being pissy and weird. He was supposed to leave for WY this week but they postponed til next week. Probably because of the aforementioned freak snow storm.

Gives him more time to bum a ride, right?

Our forecast said 36. But this is TN, so they have a 50/50 chance of getting the forecast right....

I guess I'll check what's up with J and see if he wants to ride to town. I need to get feed and stuff.

Buffy can hop!!!

I hope so, because if she doesn't hop from the old thread to this one soon I think we'll have to send a search party to look for her.
