I think her is.

Yes, she is. I think I remember her saying her kids have walked to it. She showed me some awesome pictures and I think we told Ella those were Santa's reindeer.

We'll have to see if we can get her to post some reindeer pictures.

How cool would that be to live down the road from a reindeer farm? And I think it's cool walking across the road to feed the cows when they are out to pasture.

Ok, so today was the True Value Farm Implement stores annual eater egg hunt. You take your kids to run around and get eggs with goodies or numbers. Numbers mean take it to the table and get a prize. We got 3 numbers... 1 was for a pack of play-doh---excellent cuz ours is all dried out, #2 was for a bucket filled with water battle stuff---tons of water balloons, spicket holders to fill balloons, and those drench balls you soak and pummel each other with---this will be good summer fun--might hold out on it for dd's summer birthday party, #3 was a light up sword---one of those one night glow stick thingy bobs.

Then when it's all said and done you get to jump in the jump houses but they had to deflate them because it was SOOO windy and if they left them up they could have blown across the feils with kids in em onto the highway---now THAT would have been excitement. Then they have hot dogs, pulled pork bbq sandwiches, pickles, chips, bottled water, popcorn and coffee offered and a bucket set out to donate to a special needs school in the area. Then they have tables out front of their merchandise that's reduced price...AND chickies and duckies for sale in the building...

We did not come home with any. All they had were a few turkey that went quickly. 4 rouen and I'm sad to say whomever purchased them purchased them on a whim and the 2 that were purchased did not leave together so they didn't even buy a pair so they could have a buddy. I caught the couple that bought one of the ducks and told them it's best they have a buddy but I don't think they were listening or cared. I wonder if they think these are mallard types and wonder if they're going to try to "release" it into the "wild" some time when they get too big and messy. Poor ducks. Then there were a ton of cornish X.

Well, I saw the lady from last year that picked up a couple of chicks and grew them out and then gave them to me after a couple of weeks because they live in a village that would frown upon chickens...it's the same village thingy my mom moved to and they have LOTS of rules about no fences and stuff in your yard...so I saw her with a peeping box and I said, what do you have there? She says, 3 baby chicks...and I was going to call you. So looks like I'll have some meaties in a couple of weeks. Her daughter says, what will you do with them and her mom jumps in there real quick and says, they'll live with her and be loved for the rest of their lives.

uh, in mah belly after they get big and fat.

But whatever we must tell the kids....

I had to tell them that we still had thier 2 red hens from last year but Princess Heart Kisses turned out to be a boy and was evil so he found a new home....called the farm auction and brought me in more money than you bought for him. ok, I didn't say all of that. Just the first part.

Maple, you will be loving those chicks for the rest of their lives, how ever short it may be!
And you'll be loving them deliciously after their life.

And my son's neighbor, not the son that lives next door, has chickens. those chickens are out and about a lot, so yesterday I walked down there and talked to them. I told him I like his chickens, they are mutts, but unusual color. Kind of like a greyish blue color. So, he said that if I want some fertile eggs, I could come back in a couple weeks when he gets some.

And today we went to look at a motorcycle that some one else wanted us to check out for him, the bike wasn't for sale any longer, but they had chickens in their yard! A really pretty white rooster and some hens.

I grew up in Pass Christian, Mississippi. I ran hell bent for leather far far far away as soon as I could. I'm now in the cornhusker state.

I like nebraska. It's nice, flat, but nice.

Oh and I almost forgot...so we are nearly the last ones to skid daddle out of there and I see the ladies picking up the prize table and we had stopped by earlier and had thanked them for putting on another wonderful easter egg hunt...we like to do this every year...it's one of the best ones around with jump houses and food...and of course baby chicks and ducks... And then we went and ate... At the end when the girls were taking their umpteenth time holding baby chicks and ducks and I was trying to get them to follow me out of the store the ladies stopped us and they were holding a 3 foot giant white bunny and a 3 foot easter stocking with gifts and said, "Would your girls like these?"

Are you serious? What kid WOULDN'T think a giant bunny and a giant easter stocking stuffed with games and prizes were the best things ever? So my kids started jumping up and down and so I told them I was parked at the end of the lane so I would have to go pull up, so they stuck em in a tractor wagon for sale and then we pulled around and got them. Parked again and went and looked at the BIG tractors and took some pics. And made sure we hunted down the owner and thanked him for their generosity and a great easter egg hunt. He recognizes me from coming in often enough and buggin him with questions.

Then I had to stop by the drug store...I put my kids down the toy aisle and told them to stay put and then I picked up some things for their easter baskets....paid for them...was 2 dollars short and said, hang on---I was going to go to my car or hunt down the church lady I go to church with and borrow it because somehow I misplaced my debit card...I think it's in a pocket when I paid gas the other day...but anyway, the guy behind me says, how much do you need? And pulls out 2 dollars and makes up the difference. And I said, thanks, you made my day.

So then I ran and stuck treats in car...covered with my jacket, ran in and got my girls...who were being slightly tended to by the church lady...no, not the SNL church lady but that would be funny....hmmmmm, who made you do it? mmm, maybe SATAN? No, just an older queit type lady who likes to watch lil kids and smile at them. Then we came home and the girls are playing with their true value balloons, pencils--those funky rectagle ones, and their candy from the eggs and coloring on coloring book from the easter stocking....

And did I tell you I was ready for a nap?

Last night was a weird night. I started having back/chest pain I couldn't get to go away and it scared me I was having a heart attack and plus I noticed my ankles and fingers were swollen. Now I was naughty because yesterday I ordered french onion soup...now I've had it at this restaurant before and it has been soooo good....the right flavor, big onion, bread wedges, perfected melted cheese....but I not only finished mine I finished both of my girls soups too AND it was extra salty more than usual but I was sooo hungry and then I got the appetizer 6 jumbo grilled shrimp as opposed to a meal because I love the soup and the shrimp and that's what I got. So I think the salt load was way more than I should have had. Anyway, I go get my nitro and I'm reading the insert and I'm scared about taking it but I'm scared about not taking it....

So I go take my blood pressure...but my blood pressure is reading like this...which to me is low to normal...

114/61 68 @ 3:04 am
104/64 68 @3:07 am
94/54 67 @ 3:35 am
91/55 65 @3:38 am
90/45 67@ 4:12 am **look at that low one?
104/66 61 @ 2:39 pm

So of course I wimp out taking the nitro because I know it will make the blood pressure drop more but so that's what confuses me because to me...It's already low? And I'm by myself except for 2 sleeping kids...I lay down propped up and eventually the pain subsides and I fall asleep but not for a long time because I'm scared to fall asleep cuz I'm scared I won't wake up. So I had a pretty icky night and I'm feelin better today. I'm no longer swollen. I made sure to walk a fair amount today because I feel I needed to give my heart some exercise and get it pumping and stronger. I'm stressed from the move, I'm stressed for the diposition that I'm sure his lawyer is doing to contest alimony...I don't need any of this but I've come to terms with the move, I can see a silver lining, I've got people helping me so it doesn't seem so overwhelming anymore, I saw the realitor and she LOVES me--we've been in contact over the years since me and mom always call her to show us houses since we were contemplating moving in together at one time.... and she is totally being reasonable...so that stress isn't really a stress anymore, slightly but not so much as before---theres still lots to go but I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I know moving will be good for me and my girls and I'm excited to get there and put all of this behind me.

Ok, so right now my radiator in my kitchen is leaking like crazy but I just called my friends dad and he's out to come and see if he can get it to stop...I've turned the knob...it's not that...it's the fitting and so he'd have to get it with a wrench or something....I'm thinking....I don't have one handy....or I might but I don't have a garage that makes any sense right now...so we'll see what he can do.

Mom and my oldest sis went to Chicago today to my other sis's house. Supposedly they'll be back and we'll go to the Cracker Barrel for our Easter dinner tomorrow. So...it's going to be ok. We'll be ok. I just get worried about my health...a lot. And I'm tired and want to take a nap but not till my radiator stops leaking.

I kept blaming my socks getting wet because Ava kept getting a tub of water for her rubber ducks and then the dogs got excited and spilled thier water....but then I noticed...why ALWAYS in that spot after I pick it up? So upon further inspection it's the stupid radiator and I know I'm blaming it on my 5 year old because I saw her leaning against it the other day and pushing it back against the wall and leaning forward repeatedly until I told her to stop. ...darn kids, I keep telling them...How am I supposed to sell this house if you keep drawing on it, painting it with nail polish, and making a mess? le sigh...

....I take it a bit later and it's lower,
