mornin batz...you can have my blazor for free....but you gotta get it runnin first. New brakes, tires, and a leak in the manifold...hasn't been run in 2 years so you'll need a new battery too and redo the fluids...but I bet she starts after a new battery is in.

Don't worry, I took your nap for you, don't know why I'm so tired, just am, its nap taking weather here.

My GD's other grammie invited me to here house for Easter. I might go so that way I can watch GD have her egg hunt. And her dil said she has sewing patterns she will give me,

At my son's house that doesn't live next door, is a bunch of metal roofing stuff he said I can have. So we are going to pick that up too, and my chickens will get a new roof over part of their pen, so next time it rains it won't leak in there and they won't have to all squish in one area to stay dry while roosting. That'll also help it keep from getting so muddy in there.

Maple, my dad's bp is always good, it is his heart rate that is up, really high sometimes, and that is why he is on so many meds now. He never took meds much, and now he has like 6 of them I have to take to him daily, and he doesn't like being on so many meds and dr appts etc. But he is starting to have less appts now, and that is a good sign I tell him, not to give up hope yet. His heart can get strong again. This is very hard on him. But the docs say they are trying to prevent a stroke.

Please pray for him.

Hey, new roofing material and non drenched chickens...sounds like a plan. I think you ought to go watch your granddaughter hunt for eggs....you'll enjoy it.




Well, darn tootin. My pipe has a leak right where it is pressed up to the fitting. My friends dad came out and we tried to get in there...tight tight space...and see if tightening did anything and nope...just got worse. So then we had to go down and shut off the water and drain the system to stop the leak. I no longer have heat. Oh well, supposed to be fairly decent next week and I've still got one space heater I didn't put in my storage....mmm....I think. And then there's my cast iron stove...gotta go unclutter the mess in front of it so I don't catch nothin on fire. It was my dumping grounds as I was bringing stuff down from upstairs... le sigh.

So I'm gonna talk to the contractor tomorrow at church if I see him and see what he says cuz my friends dad doesn't want to touch it...the pipe doesn't give ya lots of workin room since it goes right into the wall and up and you can only pull it out so far...may mean we need to take out a section of the wall right there to get to it. double drats...but I know the contractor has plastor guys he can send over to help with that. It's just it's gonna cost money....waaaaa!!! But guess what...I'm makin dh pay half dap nap it.


no napping yet...my girls are hungry...i think I'll make some mac n chz.

I just got a bunny diaper from a byc'r yesterday. I'm gonna test it out tomorrow. It's just a rough copy of one she wants to see how it works and if it will. When I got my bunny they said she was poddy trained but I've noticed...that's not the case but...regardless. It's not like she's gonna wear the diaper all day everyday, just when we have her out of her cage for free time....in the house...not including the free time she gets outside.

I'm having my doubts on how it will work but I'll let you know.

Oh! A bunny diaper! yes, let me know how it works! I'd love to let my bunny run around in house longer.
But, you do gotta watch and make sure they do not chew on things, cuz they like to do that.
We're going to gd's house now, maybe I should bring my bunny!

And I'm taking some eggs with me, cuz her mom asked me if I had any.

Some of them are quite fresh, yesterday and today's, so hope we can get them peeled after boiling, and then hunting them.

I was reading on here this morning about boiling them to make them peel easier, and it says to bring water to a rapid boil first, then gently place the eggs in with a ladel and boil 15 mins, then cool.
Do you know if that is the best method for fresh eggs?
